Beautiful and peaceful - rooms are tastefully decorated, very comfortable and convenient. Very green and airy creating a relaxed environment. Staff are friendly and helpful. Adjacent to a very nice restaurant with the same name.

Next to the restaurant with the same name, a beautiful little hotel, very green, with nice Khmer furniture, large and comfortable rooms, very peaceful and for a very correct price (40 USD for standard room). Good bathroom, extremely clean, to be recommended without restrictions
This guesthouse is attached to the long-running restaurant of the same name, set in a sumptuous villa. The 19 rooms come with flat-screen TVs, leafy balconies and antique furnishings, not to mention bathrooms that would put most four-star properties to shame.

This hotel is small and is on top of the very famous Kmer Surin restaurant - which serves great Kmer food. It feels like a small guesthouse rather than a hotel. Private. The rooms are decorated in a beautiful style with flower/lotus displays changed in common areas regularly. Bathroom was great and a little balcony too in some rooms. I stayed here for a week as I was in town for work. Nice restaurants nearby and easy to walk to places. Located in BKK1 area of Phnom Penh. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Delicious breakfast as you would expect from a famous restaurant. I will stay here again and recommend highly. Only a few draw backs if I am going to be fussy. The bed was a bit on the hard side and also sometimes there was noise at night from the restaurant and function rooms - and yes, a constant BBQ smell from the big kitchen, but nothing to prevent me coming again!

I've stayed in PP 4 or 5 different times and this is my favorite hotel, particularly when you consider the value for money. Overall I paid about 1/3 to 1/5 of what I have paid at other hotels in the city and with the exception of the Raffles, there is not a hotel that I like better than the Khmer Surin.
The KS has a restaurant on ground level that is very pleasant where breakfast is served. I was working a lot while in PP so I found it very convenient to take my meals downstairs. The food was good and the service was pleasant. It is located in a great neighborhood where there are lots of restaurants within walking distance and lots of taxis available.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel highly to any one who likes a clean and quaint place to stay. There are no 5-star amenities like a pool, spa, or gym, but if you do not need these things, it is a great find.
Reserve ahead of time, especially in high season.
